Study Guide for “Walk with Me”

Every married person has encountered the gap between their early hopes for ideal love and the disillusioning reality of day-to-day living. The demands of a marriage relationship can put faith to the test. How is it possible to offer grace and sacrificial love when we’ve been hurt and betrayed? How can we go on when our dreams for romance die?

Walk with Me tells the story of one couple on their way to the King’s City. When Peter and Celeste become partners, they quickly discover the journey together is much more difficult than expected. Their love for the King and for each other is challenged after they turn away from the Mountains of Maturity and head into the Swamp of Selfishness. After they cross the dismal Plains of Distance, they go to Desolate Canyon where they are almost separated by the River of Unfaithfulness. At the Valley of Cut Cords they must choose whether to continue together. But as they follow the Servant’s path, they learn the wisdom of God’s Word and discover the strength to forgive.
